Classes for all Seasons
FLOWER ARRANGING, PLAIN AND SIMPLE
Fresh flower arrangements brighten both our living spaces and our spirits. Learn how to create country garden style bouquets for your home quickly and easily without breaking the budget.
Learn the techniques of buying, picking, cutting and conditioning fresh plant material, as well as how how to select and use fruits and vegetables from the supermarket in arrangements.
Each student will make three arrangements to take home. Each arrangement will teach a different design method: a hand-held bouquet, how to arrange in glass and a design in floral foam.
Depending on the season, plant material will include such flowers as roses, stock, larkspur, delphinium, hydrangea, lilies, mums, asters, carnations, flowering shrubs, daffodils and tulips as well as fresh cut herbs, berries, fruits, vegetables and greens.
A $60.00 materials fee covers all supplies: 3 containers, mechanics, all plant material and handouts. Please be sure to bring floral scissors to class. 3 hours
